Dear Patients of Fountain Lake Family Dental:
We started seeing patients yesterday with urgent dental needs. Our appointment process for the foreseeable future will have office hours one or two days per week for individual appointments, one person at a time. The patient must not have any flu-like or COVID-like signs or symptoms for at least 3 days prior to their appointment. If you have a fever, most-likely due to a tooth infection, we will see you regardless of the fever symptoms because we want to diagnose and treat your oral infection.
To make our office environmentally safe during this pandemic, the office will be completely disinfected before the patient arrives, and we will only allow one patient in the office at a time. When the patient arrives, they will be asked to disinfect their hands. We will maintain a six foot distance from them at all times, except when working with them in the dental chair while we are protected with PPE. When the patient is seated, they will be given a prescription mouth rinse to cleanse their mouth as an extra precaution. We will treat their dental needs as efficiently as possible. When we are finished, the patient will then be asked to disinfect their hands once more, and they will be checked out at the front desk while maintaining a six foot distance from our staff.
After the patient is dismissed, we will re-disinfect all of the areas that they potentially touched. When we are ready for the next patient, we will call them and let them know that we are ready for our next procedure. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
